Just a thought

Amber and I were talking this morning about how exciting it is to be alive in these times.  That the things of the Father are only going to intensify with signs, wonders, gifts, and miracles as He longs to turn the hearts of His children back to Him.  She said that she could almost imagine the saints that have gone on looking down on our generation wanting to be a part of it all!  Life is good, and only getting better everyday.

Psalm 63:1

O God, you are my God,

earnestly I seek you;

my soul thirsts for you,

my body longs for you,

in a dry and weary land where there is no water.

Dreams …

Wednesday night I had a dream that I was getting ready for a wedding.  It wasn’t my wedding, but I was to play an important part in it.  It seemed like everything that could go wrong was and then some.    I needed to take a bath, but my claw-foot bathtub was replaced with a triangle shaped jet powered tub.   The new tub was not in working order yet, but then I remembered I had one in my bedroom.  So, I got cleaned up, but then I couldn’t find my clothes I was to wear to the wedding.  I ended up at the wedding in shorts, t-shirt, and flip flops.  It didn’t seem to matter though once the wedding started.  I forgot what I was wearing and the trouble it took to get there.  I was just thrilled to be a part of something so special.

I believe this is an example of the wedding feast that the Lord will host for us, His bride, one glorious day.  We scramble trying to get everything in order, all of our ducks in a row if you will.  He wants so badly for us to share the awesome news of His love and redemption with everyone, and abandon our own ambitions.   His wonderful and amazing grace takes care of the rest.

I delight greatly in the LORD; my soul rejoices in my God. For he has clothed me with garments of salvation and arrayed me in a robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom adorns his head like a priest, and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.

Psalm 91:1 & 2

He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High                                                       will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.

I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress,                                      my God, in whom I trust.”

Dear Lord, I want to be in your presence so much that I smell like You.

Weekend rest

The Lord is giving us weekends off to rest for a few weeks before it gets super intense. He knows how much we can handle and won’t give us a hair over that. Right now, we need entire weekends to recover because we are starting to get our feet wet.

This weekend we are going to work on the blog and tell y’all what has been going on so far. We are so excited!
